Dale Sorensen Real Estate in Vero Beach Enjoys Sales Increase

Saturday, May 17th, 2008

Vero Beach, FL — At a time considered to be one of the most challenging for real estate companies, in contrast Dale Sorensen Real Estate saw a 25% increase in sales in 2007. What can explain it? The answer may be the power of observation and the ability to respond. Dale Sorensen founded his company thirty years ago, and he has always been able to adapt to change. So when he noticed a trend several years ago, he did not let the opportunity pass him by.

Traffic to the site comes from over 100 countries, displays more $1 million-plus properties than any other luxury real estate organization, and has grown to feature 100,000 of the world’s most remarkable properties - with an inventory totaling almost $20 billion! “I spotted the growing trend for European buyers being attracted to the East Coast of Florida several years ago,” said Sorensen. With a group of leading Brokers in Florida, he soon established an office in London to identify methods of attracting a wide range of buyers.

Google Maps Integrated by Fizber

Thursday, August 9th, 2007

Vero Beach, FL — Fizber.com, for-sale-by-owner real estate website, introduced a new tool for home buyers – all home listings are displayed with Google Maps making your search more exciting and dynamic. You can either get a list of homes or use a cool Google Maps feature to browse listings. Fly around a neighborhood with Google maps and see the houses for sale in your area. Click on an individual house for the selling information, house details, etc., all for free and no strings attached. Fizber shows the results via Google Maps with the listings on the left, with photos of the property if available.

As on other FSBO sites, www.Fizber.com visitors can search for homes by address or ZIP code. But thanks to Fizber.com’s integrated map and satellite images, the similarity ends there: home buyers can zoom in from the national level to the street level on a map, satellite or hybrid image, making it possible to check out the neighborhood before setting foot in a house. Doesn’t that make looking for a home a little more insightful?

Fizber is taking residential real estate listings from home owners and overlaying them on Google Maps, providing a regional view of real estate. With Fizber, you can quickly view all the real estate listings in a given zip code, city or county, then drill down based upon various parameters.

“Today we went live with our newest feature: Google Maps integration. Yes, we’ve done it. By integrating our site with Google Maps and displaying home listings in that format, Fizber.com gives potential buyers a visual, intuitive way to find the property that is right for them,” stated company PR Manager Julia Foster. “Most buyers would like to know what a neighborhood looks like before taking the time to walk through a home for sale, and thanks to the images we provide, they have the chance to do that. Maps are about power, they show you who lives where, how people get around.”

“These types of maps are very effective in real estate,” says Antony Fizber, the CEO of the company. “All modern real estate websites such as Trulia are built around them, and we worked hard to embed Google Maps in Fizber’s web pages to enhance the usability of the site. It is a great way to show the neighborhood. Just zoom in and scroll the map or search for an address or neighborhood. I know far too well how frustrating shopping for a house online can be. We did our best to help home buyers search by location using a dynamic and interactive map.”

Fizber.com gives you the power to search for homes across the U.S. with a new buyer-friendly tool.
